The Visual Basic Portion of the x86 Book is under development. These files are just to show an example using VB.
The MDE8255LPT-1 board requires a Hardware Driver and DLL. We have provided that interface here. The test files and driver have been tested under Microsoft Windows XP.
Note: The example programs use address 0x378, you will have to change the source code and recompile if this is not the address of your parallel port Example files from the x86 Book are coming soon.
The MDE8255LPT-1 DLL has changed. You Do not need to reinstall the system driver if you have already installed it. Just change the old DLL file with the new one.
The DLL changes accommodate the ISA bus requirements.
