Unique features on the NanoboyS3-JR
1.
A
digital switch is added to turn off the battery level
test circuit after the test is done.
It
will reduce deep sleep current significantly.
2. With a Low Pass Filter, the battery charge status LED
does not flicker when a battery is not connected.
3. Long Reset Press
(LRP) to enter bootloader mode, it's
simple and easy to use, press the reset button until a red LED
is lit
to enter bootloader mode. No need to press 2 buttons at the same
time. Once you use it, you may like it.

12 uA Deep Sleep current |
|
In order to achieve lowest deep sleep
current possible, you have 3 basic choices:
1. Use a
digital switch and a resistor divider with low value. The resistor divider is only turned on for reading
voltage level, can be turned off at 99.9% of time.
2. Use a
resistor divider with very high value, the battery
voltage level reading will be very unstable. Defeat the
purpose of reading battery voltage level.
3. Do not have
the resistor divider in your circuits at all. Do not
monitor the battery voltage level.
The ESP32-S3
draws a higher deep sleep current than the
ESP32-PICO-V3-02.
Our NanoboyPICO-V3-02-JR board's deep sleep current is
about 7-8uA. See the video at
nanoboypico_v3_02_jr
website.
Our more expensive DMM has an auto range feature,
but unfortunately it could not display lower than 10uA,
but this cheap DMM does. It's just amazing, it's even
very accurate compared to other more expensive DMMs.
